Hayley & Jack’s Holiday Card for 2015
For the last few years we have made a card that is a puzzle for you to solve. This year we decided to take a different approach. We are reporting on a puzzle we are trying to solve. The puzzle how to build a house that reflects our role as stewards of the planet? This report in an episodic mash-up of graphics, quotes, random thoughts and web links that are informing our architectural decisions.
It is a timely inquiry falling as it does on the heals of the UN conference on climate change. For this initiative to succeed we must  all become, in some measure, climate scientists. A tall order? No so much. We have found that all one needs to do is pay attention, keep an open mind, be willing to investigate and share your findings. It is in this spirit that we offer this abecedarium on energy efficient building titled: DATA not DOGMA.
Since so much of the research is available online we offer our calendar in .pdf, form read it as you will – in one setting or print it and display for a whole year’s worth of observations, quotes and graphical information.
May 2016 bring PEACE IN OUR TIME.
